How Clarity Creates Million-Dollar Growth for Small Businesses

by Gabriella Sovago | Dec 12, 2025 | Business 101, Business Mindset, Marketing 101

Let me tell you a million-dollar success story. And before you imagine confetti cannons or some dramatic, cinematic turning point, let me start with this: Real success doesn’t look like one big moment. It unfolds quietly in the background of small-business life — in...

Small Business Growth & Branding: Systems, Scaling & Lead Generation

by Gabriella Sovago | Dec 8, 2025 | Business 101, Business Mindset, Marketing 101

Growing a small business isn’t just about drumming up more clients. If it were that simple, you’d have done it already. No, growth comes bundled with everything else you carry — the confidence you fake some days, the half-built systems you promise you’ll finish “after...

How to Measure Marketing ROI (Without Wasting Money)

by Gabriella Sovago | Dec 7, 2025 | Business 101, Marketing 101, Paid Advertising

How small business owners can track real results, set the right budget, and finally understand marketing ROI. Small business owners don’t mind rolling up their sleeves. They’ll stay late, open early, fix the broken bits, deal with the paperwork, and smile politely...
How to choose which marketer to work with?

How to choose which marketer to work with?

by Gabriella Sovago | Oct 14, 2025 | Business 101, Marketing 101, marketing services

It would be so easy to say this: Well, if you do not have time to read this, just go with me, here is my number 0490485462, I am great and for sure get you leads. Problem solved 😛 But I won’t… I promise I won’t be biased here.  For context, I used to...

Outsmart, Don’t Outspend: How Small Business Can Beat the Competition – Even the Big Brands

by Gabriella Sovago | Jun 27, 2025 | Business 101, Marketing 101

Do you ever feel like a small fish swimming among billion-dollar sharks? Multinational brands. They’re big, they’re loud, they’re everywhere. But you’re not losing. You’re just following the wrong playbook. You’ve been trying to win a rigged game. And guess what? You...

We don’t take on many organic social media managem We don’t take on many organic social media management clients.

But when we do, we go all in.
Strategy, positioning, storytelling, content that actually connects, and marketing that’s built to convert, not just fill a feed.

We’re selective because we care about results more than vanity metrics.

But when the right brand comes along?
We create magic. ✨

Sell with the confidence of a drunk person. (DISCL Sell with the confidence of a drunk person.
(DISCLAIMER: Before anyone asks… No alcohol was harmed in the making of this post 🍷 This image is 100% AI-generated.)

Have you ever noticed that drunk people don’t:
overthink
second guess
worry if they sound stupid

They just say the thing.
“That’s overpriced.”
“I don’t like that.”
“You should do this instead.”

Now compare that to how most introverts sell:
They soften everything.
They over-explain.
They hide behind “just checking in” messages.
They’re so focused on not being pushy… that they become invisible.

Drunk confidence is just unfiltered clarity.
And that’s exactly what most sales are missing.

It’s certainty in:
who you help
what you do
why it works

So instead of asking: “How do I sound more confident?”
Ask: “What am I still unsure about?”
Fix that and the confidence shows up naturally.

No personality change required.

As the founder of Glow Sphere Marketing, I love opportunities like this to connect with local business owners and support them with strategy and growth ideas. I have been with this program for almost a year and loving all the mentoring sessions.

A big thank you to @mackaycouncil for organising such a valuable day for the local business community, and to @mackayregionchamber and @ypmackay for helping spread the word and letting small businesses know about this opportunity.
January happened quietly behind the scenes. Gabi January happened quietly behind the scenes.

Gabi worked remotely while travelling through India and Sri Lanka, experienced the digital nomad lifestyle again, learnt how to surf (very humbling), saw the Taj Mahal, and made some unexpected friends along the way.

At Glow Sphere, we launched a 2-hour marketing coaching session for $180 with just 10 spots — and it sold out quickly. Because of the enquiries, we’re opening a few more spots in February. - Comment COACHING for a link

We also launched the Marketing Planner 2026, which was downloaded more than 650 times in January alone. - Comment PLANNER for the lin

Viki spent the month wandering through Egypt and working on something we’ll share more about soon.

And behind the scenes, we welcomed two new team members — Bushra, an incredibly talented senior graphic designer with over 15 years of experience, and Sam, our senior social media manager.

January didn’t need to be loud.
It just needed to move the business forward.

And it did.
Two things I’ve learned as a small business owner: Two things I’ve learned as a small business owner:

People don’t read.

Some people think you’re Amazon — with Prime prices and same-day delivery.

They want:
– instant replies
– instant quotes
– instant decisions
– all while paying Amazon-level prices for a custom service.

Spoiler: that’s not how small businesses work.

If your inbox is full of long conversations that go nowhere, it’s usually not because you “can’t sell”.

It’s because your marketing is too polite.

Vague messaging attracts people who want convenience, not commitment.
And those people will happily take your time — just not pay your worth.

Better positioning fixes this before the conversation starts.

Clear messaging.
Clear expectations.
Clear pricing cues.

So the wrong people don’t even click.

That’s what I work on in my marketing coaching.

I’ve reopened my books and I’m offering a 2-hour coaching session for $180 (limited spots).
For many businesses, this one session is enough to:
– stop attracting Amazon-level expectations
– filter out price shoppers
– and get enquiries from people who are actually ready to pay

You don’t need to respond faster.
You need to attract better.

Comment AMAZON and I'll send you the link for the coaching session.
